After reading the review of the orignal AS-F2 in Stereophile I decided to check these out. I saw a great price on amazon so I said why not. To be fair the speakers are still in the 50 hour break in period recommended by the owners manual and I have not finished tweeking my system to optimize the sound. That having been said these are good speakers for the money. As advertised they deliver a lot of pretty tight bass. Right now I find them a little harsh in the upper ranges but that could be because of the things I mentioned above. I am running them with a ADCOM GFA-5400, and an Acurus RL-11. The primary sources I have been using are an NAD C-660, an Acurus ACD-11 and a Polk xrt-12.
